This seems pretty challenging, but MM shows that James' luck and charisma can only go so far, and CH, being as genius as they are, with a week of prep, could potentially have a whole speech negating James' credibility and CH would know what to do in situations if they ever are losing the debate, whereas other people would become irrational. Given James' charisma isn't mind control, doesn't seem too far off that CH would have a much higher chance at conducting a plan and finding against any weakspots against someone who even has more notoriety than them.

In honor of the election today, I've decided to comment on this

So firstly, I want to talk about how CH shouldn't be underestimated in this battle, as CH's social influencing is actually BONKERS

Probably the best case of some bonkers human SI is cult leaders. Through their words alone along with a heafty amount of manipulation, cult leaders, overtime, can manipulate people into doing damn near anything. There are god knows how many cult leaders that have convinced originally completely normal & sane people into murder, poisoning their own children, poisoning themselves, or just into some really wacky shit. And they can use some crazy manipulation tactics to get people to side with them. We also have other people with great manipulation abilities, such as celebrities. Michael Jackson's death temporarily stopped the war in the middle east for a day simply so that they could mourn the loss of Michael Jackson. The internet crashed due to how many people were looking up Michael Jackson & tens of thousands of people showed up to the funeral, and it was estimated that Michael Jackson had 6 billion fans worldwide. Keep in mind that this was pre-internet too

Both our own presidential canidates have great social influencing abilities, and an advantage in this is that this isn't a presidential race, just a presidential debate. And CH is litteraly the best debater in human history. So even though James might have better social influencing, CH will be a lot better at arguing his side and will overall debate better

Pretty much, is this debate being decided by the public or by a professoinal debate judge? If it's just the general population deciding who won then it could go either way as both of them are incredibly charasmatic & persuasive, & Nixon did still win some electoral votes so regular people outcharming James isn't impossible. If this is being judged strictly off of their debating skill & knowledge with charisma not included, then CH should win this as he's a far better debator
