Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Can regenerate nerve tissue to a degree, Immortality (Type 2. It has nervous tissue throughout its body and can survive without a head or significant portions of the body), Enhanced Senses (Has enhanced smell, hearing and sight), Acid Manipulation (Has acidic saliva which can be used as a projectile), Self-Destruction (By mixing hydrogen sulfide and methane, zombies can explode on their targets, easily spreading the pathogen)

Attack Potency: Wall level (Has their body mass and strength increased several times over, making them stronger than any human, even against armed Z-Com members)

Speed: SuperHuman (Can travel across countries in only a matter of days)

Lifting Strength: SuperHuman

Wall level (Has an enhanced bone structure which lets it take larger amounts of blunt force trauma and damage than any normal human)

  • Cytopathic Reanimatio Formation of complex neural structures enables re-animation of damaged cells and restoration of low level vitals. Turns the dead into zombies.
  • Anaerobic Resuscitation: Infected brain cells switch to anaerobic respiration. Lactic acid buildup is lethal and destroys higher brain processes and personality.
  • Enhanced Sensory Integration: Nutrient flow to occipital and temporal lobes increased causing enhanced sight and hearing. Increases severity.
  • Enhanced Motor Control: Nutrient flow to parietal lobe increased, improving movement and coordination. Increases severity, particularly in urban environments.
  • Hyperosmia: Thinning of nasal epithelium significantly increases zombie sense of smell. Increases severity.
  • Temporal Lobe Manipulation: Zombies attracted to movement and will abandon victims once dead. Prey more likely to remain and become a zombie.
  • Adrenal Surge: Mutation of the adrenal cortex causes adrenaline over-production. Increases alertness and aggression of zombies.
  • Masticatory Tension: Masticatory muscles become engorged, allowing zombie to bite through thick clothing. Severity increased.
  • Peptide Surge: Growth hormone production triggers extreme metabolism of fat to build muscle. Enhanced strength, increases severity.
  • Cathemeral Shift: Stimulation of primary visual cortex improves vision in bright sunlight. Significantly increases severity.
  • Lumbrical Hypertrophy: Significantly strengthens zombie grip making it nearly impossible for prey to break free. Severity significantly increased.
  • Anabolic Boost: Surges of testosterone significantly increases muscle mass and weight of some zombies. Severity significantly increased.
  • Acidic Reflux: Extreme laryngopharyngeal reflux causes acidic saliva. Increases severity and gives zombies combat advantage.
  • Dermal Calcification: Mutations in the endocrine system cause parts of the skin to harden and calcify. Gives zombies combat advantage.
  • Naja Mortis: Muscle growth around the submandibular duct lets some zombies projectile spit at prey. Increase severity and zombie combat advantage.
  • Cranial Elephantitis: Adenoma triggers mutated growth hormones, which encourage bone growth in the skull. Gives zombies combat advantage.
  • Autothysis: Explosive mix of hydrogen sulfide and methane collects inside zombie. Significantly increases severity and zombie combat advantage.
  • Bone Dysplasia: Increased bone density provides enhanced protection against trauma. Gives zombie combat advantage.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Becomes faster if enraged

Attack Potency: At least Wall level (Can easily run straight through walls, tear up chunks of concrete the size of cars and throw them at high speeds, can punt and throw cars with ease, ripped a huge chunk out of a brick wall and easily threw it)

Lifting Strength: At least Class 5 (Can easily lift and toss cars)

Striking Strength: At least Wall Class, possibly higher (Destroys walls simply by bumping into them)

Speed: SuperHuman (Fast enough to outrun normal, if athletic, people). Higher when severely enraged or set ablaze (The Tank's speed nearly doubles under those circumstances)

Durability: Wall level (Can survive multiple rounds from the grenade launcher, which is based on the M79, which can yield this much power when it fires its HE rounds, as well as being set afire and being shot at by small arms fire)

Stamina: Virtually limitless (As an Infected, The Tank does not feel fatigue, its motivation to run is if they were to see any human being in sight)

Range: Extended melee range, at least a dozen meters with projectiles

Standard Equipment: Nothing, just their bare hands

Intelligence: Simple minded (their only instinct is "kill anything on sight")

Weaknesses: Lacks complex thought processes due to the effects of the Infection

Tank quite easily. The Necroa zombies aren't that much more powerful than humans, and regen's going to be useless when the Tank can easily shred them to, well, shreds. Acid at best could so something, but probably not enough to kill the Tank before the zombie dies.
 
If the tank shreds them they get a large explosion in their face at point blank range and either gets covered in acid or gets infected with the Necroa Virus
 
Do we know how strong the explosion is? It would need to be strong enough to one-shot the Tank, as I doubt the Necroa Virus could infect already-infected zombies.
 
Depends on what an explosion of an abdominal cavity full of Methane and Hydrogen Sulfide yields.

There's also the fact that the Necroa Zombies have durability enhanced by exponentially denser bones, all fat in the body being turned to muscle, pre-existing muscle mass being enhanced several times over, and skin that is altered to be much thicker and harder.
 
I don't see Resistance to Disease Manipulation of any kind on Tank's profile, so until proven otherwise, the Necroa Virus should be able to infect him.
 
I don't think just having more muscles is enough to counter being shaped like a giant gorilla and being strong enough to send cars flying.

It doesn't help that even if the explosion works, at best it's inconclusive.

@Ozzy You don't have to resist the disease. The Tank's already a zombie, can't really be turned into one further.
 
That doesn't matter since he would still lose the will to fight his fellow Necroa zombie and they'd join an herd somewhere. And having prostate cancer doesn't prevent me from getting infected with liver cancer. Him "already" being a zombie is meaningless when they are different pathogens.

Basically this, the infection shouldn't even be a factor to someone who's already infected to begin with.
 
The Necroa Virus and the Green Flu are two completely different pathogens, there is no reason for the Tank to have a resistance. No two viruses are the same.
 
Not only that, but the Necroa Virus can already infect and take over corpses.
 
I vote inconclusive.

The Tank would easily overpower the Necroa Zombie, but the Tank would easily get infected and probably shut down from the virus and lord knows the tank ain't getting back up.
