If it's hollow, it has less mass than a moon that's not hollow.

@Byakuya if ur asking how we know the moon is hollow, then in the Last Naruto Movie it's revealed there is an entire city in the moon along with a massive castle and an artificial sun

Ythere's no information then we're not going to know if it's hollow or not.

They're inside the moon, and you see Kurama and the golem falling outside towards the Earth (as stupid as that sounds).

I thought this was resolved through a calc of some kind? Either way, if the moon were too hollow it would collapse upon itself and I don't think it would be a global threat like it is treated in the last.

I think it was deemed that the moon was partially hollow or something. There was some kind of debate on it in Gwyn's calculation of Toneri splitting the moon.

To answer OP, the Moon is hollow, yes. There is a core and a shell and a whole lot of nothing in-between. This seems more suited for the questions and answers board though.
