Superman and Spider-Man. They exhibit the same characteristics, and are meant to motivate those that read their stories to be responsible and to do the right thing, but it goes even deeper than that. Superman does this on an archetypal level due to having nigh-incorruptible morals. He's literally the antithesis to the phrase "power corrupts". Spider-Man has a phrase that is meant to help people be an antithesis to the idea that power corrupts: "With great power, there must also come great responsibility".

Superman is pretty much the embodiment of that phrase. He's one of the most powerful superheroes in his universe, yet that power doesn't corrupt him. Where he could use that power to conquer the world or be worshiped like a god, he would rather use it to help others, to be selfless. While he may not have as many physical limitations as Spider-Man, he is constantly faced with the temptations his powers provide, or even the opportunity to take the easy way out with enemies, and doesn't. He sticks to his ethics and has the fortitude to do so even when it proves to be difficult.

Spider-Man is this same way, except on a more human level and less of an archetypal level. He has more physical limitations, as well as moral limitations. However, he usually prevails against the temptations he faces on moral levels, but also moves on from and learns from where he falls short. The same willpower we see in Superman is also evident in Spider-Man in a number of situations as well, except as Spider-Man is less of a paragon and more of what we would see from a real person, we can see his doubts at times more clearly than we can Superman's (not to say Superman doesn't have any, he does, and he has moments where he feels like wavering as well), but we also see him overcome.

These two are very similar characters, just from completely different perspectives.

I've begun to draw similarities between Leafy and Anna

• Both of them are green nature girls hailing from series that started on Flash
• Both of the series they originate from have parodied/been inspired off of pre-existing media (Battle for Dream Island was based on Total Drama and Epic Battle Fantasy was based on Final Fantasy)
• Both of them are known to be selfless, cheerful, childish, and have great egos for themselves (Leafy claims many times she is the nicest person and Anna makes many comments on how cute she is)
• Both of them have become the leaders of their team at one point (Leafy was the leader of the Squashy Grapes and Anna was the leader of her party in EBF4 due to her being the main protagonist of that game)
• Both of them have made friends with various non-human lifeforms (Leafy has been friends with various living inanimate objects and Anna has made friends with various idols and bushes)
• Both of them once mistook their own allies for working for an enemy (Leafy once mistook Eggy for being the Imposter in her team during the Imposter challenge and Anna mistook Matt and NoLegs for Lance's henchmen)
• Both became friends with reckless redheads that like killing others (Blocky and Lance respectively)

Spoiler: the greatest connections, which will 100% get this battle on death battle

-Both are non-human, both acting as protectors of their home (sans stands as the 'judge' in any run of undertale, blocking the human from coming closer to killing asgore. goku is the main line of defense of earth against all that may threaten it) that often have a laid-back attitude.

-Both are shown to have more power than their demeanor lets on (Sans, despite literally being the laziest mfer in th entire game, still poses the biggest threat to frisk throughout the entire underground, and goku is a stupid mfer before shifting to mike tyson to kick your ass.)

-The lack of action ultimately ended with their death, with sans falling asleep and getting killed for it, and goku letting his opponents power up for the thrill, which has killed him in his fight against cell

-Outside their media, both have become cultural icons, and unofficial mascots of their media (sans has become an icon of indie games, and goku has become the posterboy of shonen manga and anime
