Avatar: The Legend of Korra
Over the years, I become less and less positive on this show.

The writing is terribly inconsistent, and this results in Korra being a mixed bag of a show.

I think Korra overall is a good character, but the writing for her was very inconsistent, especially in the first two seasons.

However, Team Avatar in general isn't nearly as good as the Team Avatar in The Last Airbender.

Mako is bland, Bolin is meh, and Asami is okay.

I hated the romance in this show, especially the stupid love triangle, and I'm going to be blunt here and say that Korra and Asami seemingly getting together in the end was forced and didn't make much sense.

I think the show had a huge step up in quality during season 3. Korra as a character grows, the season had a much better villain in Zaheer, and the show was written competently.

Season 4 is a bit of a step down, but my favorite part of season 4 was watching Korra's character develop into a more mature person instead of irrational and headstrong like she was in the earlier seasons.

Overall, a very mixed bag. The peaks are very high, but the lows are very low. I do think it's a top 10 Nicktoon.

Miraculous Ladybug
If you want to talk about a show that fell off a cliff, it's Miraculous Ladybug.

The first two seasons were great and the show was seemingly on the path to greatness.

Solid animation, fun characters, cool villains, and cool character designs. All the potential in the world.

Then all of sudden, the writing took a massive dip in quality, and when I say massive, I truly mean massive.

It wasn't just the writing. The characters, animation, and much more all took a big hit.

Marionette is just a creepy stalker, and the romance between her and Adrien/Cat Noir is awful.

Chloe's character arc is seemingly never going to get resolved now.

The show fell off bad, and it doesn't help that the creator, Thomas Astruc, is too busy arguing with fans on Twitter instead of improving the show.

Overall, very good first two seasons. The rest of the show is unwatchable for me.

Ngl I started watching this show a while back but I stopped watching it because the show no longer interested me.

I can't really give a strong opinion on the show since it's been a while since I've watched it.

Intresting, most people adore the first two seasons and mostly drop it in season 4 or 5 since it falls off in general quality (it did do a come back in s7 though). Do you remember when you dropped it?

I think it might've been some time around season 3

Speaking of avatar

The og Avatar the last Airbender
Tbh...

I think this show is great, but it doesn't scratch my itch like other shows do.

Similar to Teen Titans, the animation is great and it does a great job paying homage to anime without it feeling cheap.

The characters are great. Zuko, Iroh, Katara, Toph, Azula, Ozai (one of the greatest cartoon villains imo) and many more are fantastic characters. I wasn't too crazy about Aang, though.

The show is decently funny too. Of course, the show wasn't made for you to laugh your ass off, but I had some good laughs while watching it.

The writing and overall pacing of the show is great too. Even when the show takes breaks to show off a filler episode, the filler episodes are still good and still have some importance to the overall narrative the show is trying to tell, which is something few plot-heavy shows manage to do.

Basically everything about this show is great, and I feel like this show should be one of my favorites to watch, but I think the main reason why I don't consider Avatar to be one of favorites is because it comes down to personal preference. I do like shows that want to tell more mature and thought-provoking stories, but my main priority for a cartoon is for it to entertain me, and I don't think Avatar entertains me as much as some of the other shows I mentioned.

The 2000's was a goated time for cartoons imo
Oh ofc but even among 2000's shows you'd be hard pressed to find someone bring up 6teen. It feels like all you hear about is Ben 10, Teen Titans, Avatar, The Boondocks, Billy & Mandy, Samurai Jack etc.
And with good reason, those are some of the greatest cartoons of all time. But gems like The Secret Saturdays, Symbionic Titan, hell even Cyberchase has been scrubbed off of the face of the earth (which is crazy because its still ongoing).
Seeing your list just hit me with waves of nostalgia, definitely gonna rewatch those series'.

Well seeing as how that and TD are Canadian based shows it's kinda understandable that not everyone might have seen the former, but the 2000's had loads of Hidden Gems.

I hear ya mate. Nostalgia has a funny way of creeping up on ya and just hitting you right in the feels . Especially when you randomly just come across an oldie but goodie.

No way you reacted with fire emojis like he didn't pull that shit out of his ass 😭
Yes those were the big shows of the 2000s (I dont really think Avatar gets lumped in with those shows because they have a different target audience) but no one calls that shit "The Big 4." Nick was at its prime in the 90s, not the 2000s.

when it comes to games he's right though

i played too many nick games on pc and on other devices and those four were always the main series' that were advertised because it brought in a massive playerbase

I did search it up and to be fair the first image I got was fanart of those 4 shows but I still don't think you can say they are called the big 4. Even if they are, they are rarely ever referred to as said title.

I never really played Nick games though because CN was just leagues better. Cul-de-sac Smash (Ed Edd n Eddy), Finn & Bones (Adventure Time), FusionFall (Crossover Game), Titanic Kung-Fu-Bot Offensive/TKO (Crossover Game), etc.
The list keeps going, those Nick games could never compare.

Some of y'all might get mad, but it's just a solid show for me.

The artstyle, designs, and atmosphere honestly do a lot of the carrying for me. I have a really fun time with the show aesthetically, but when I actually sit the down and watch the show properly, it's not anything spectacular.

Mac is cool, Frankie is cool, contrary to popular belief I think Bloo is fairly funny, the comedy is solid. The show just isn't all that memorable for me, especially when you compare it to Craig McCracken's other work.

An enjoyable, but mostly unremarkable show overall.

Ed, Edd, n Eddy
Definitely in the conversation for greatest CN show of all time, along with a handful of the other CN shows I praised earlier.

The artstyle and character designs, from a technical perspective, are pretty ugly, but imo, it makes the show stand out from others.

What makes this show so good are the characters and comedy.

Ed, Edd, n Eddy does a fantastic job at portraying how kids really act, to the point where it gets scarily accurate at times. The characters in general are just a lot of fun.

All three of the Eds are just a joy to watch, and those three alone create some of the best moments in the show.

But let's give a shout out to Jonny 2x4, Rolf, and Jimmy for holding it down as well. Underrated side characters.

Oh, and this show is peak comedy. Easily one of the funniest shows you can watch.

Total Drama Island
Bro I PROMISE I'll give this show a rewatch😭

I think it's on Netflix too, but as of now, I can't give a super strong opinion on it other than the theme song is amazing, and I remember really liking a good portion of the characters.

Solid lil show.

It's not going to blow your mind away, but it's a fun watch.

Cool characters, kick ass theme song, and a shockingly good portrayal of a life of a teenager. I was surprised to see how relatable this show was, and it didn't feel like I was being pandered to.

Cool show.

Code Lyoko
@DivineAura44 might crash out, but I'm here to give my honest, unbiased opinion on these shows

There are some things about Code Lyoko that age well, and there are things that don't.

Things that don't age well:

Designs - Ngl some of the designs in this show are very questionable, the first thing that stands out being most of the characters having big heads

Voice Acting - The voice acting almost borders on being cheesy 4Kids voice acting. Tbf, that does give the show a bit of a campy charm, but some of the lines that are delivered are pretty bad.

Things that do age well:

Animation - While I don't think it's on the level of a Teen Titans or Last Airbender, I think Code Lyoko does an okay job at emulating the anime look without making it look cheap, and I do generally like when the show switches to CG for the action scenes. I don't think it's as good as Jimmy Neutron's animation, but I think it's decent, and it gives the show a fresh look.

Characters - I think the characters (more specifically the main cast), are great, and it's one of the main highlights of the show, and I think the dynamics of the main cast are really well done and written. While some people might think the relationship between Yumi and Ulrich is annoying, mainly because of how their relationship is the embodiment of a "start-stop" relationship. In one, episode, they get alone well, and a romance is hinted at. Several episodes later, they're bickering again, and process repeats. However, I think it's a realistic depiction of relationships, and it gives a good message that not everything is going to be fine and dandy. Jeremie and Aelita's relationship is great, and it's honestly one of the most underrated canon ships I've seen. Every time I see these two interact I smile. I think Odd fits perfectly into the group as the comic relief, and he gives the show a much needed comedic edge. I even thought the addition of William was good, though I do think he was there for Ulrich and Yumi to have more conflict. An overall great cast of characters.

Villains - I'm going to say it. X.A.N.A. is one of the most underrated villains in cartoons. Everything from the concept, how it came to be, and its goals are great.

I used to think Code Lyoko was peak, however my mind has changed. However, I still think the show is a great watch, and it's one of the most underrated cartoons of all time. Also, banger of a theme song.

Justice League + Justice League Unlimited
Funnily enough, this is the cartoon I'm currently watching on Netflix. Iirc, I'm on season 2 of JL, so I'll say this:

How much you'll enjoy each episode is highly dependent on how much you care about the villain/hero the episodes are primarily focusing on.

If you don't care about Superman, you're not going to enjoy the episode.

If you don't care about The Flash, you're not going to enjoy the episode.

If you don't care about Green Lantern, you're not going to enjoy the episode.

If the villain that's getting introduced is weak, you're not going to enjoy the episode.

You get what I'm saying. I have enjoyed Justice League for the most part, but I'll admit there are some duds. I haven't watched JLU yet.

Infinity Train
Haven't watched it yet.

Code Lyoko slander will not be tolerated, their heads are a totally reasonable size and isn't at all large in any way, shape, or form 🗿.

Mf do you not know Nicktoons Unite exists?

And I'm going to be blunt here and say that a good portion of the Nick shows created in he 90s did NOT age well. They are very much a product of its time, and most of the shows in the 2000s actually hold up well.

Finn and Bones is the best game of all time

And I ****** with TKO HEAVY

Rugrats >>> Anything else.
And I'll give you SpongeBob as a 2000s show because that shit only aired for 2/3rds of a season in the 90s.

Mid being a TOP 10 NICKTOON is proof to me that CN is way better
Actually now that I think about it...

Spongebob
FOP
Jimmy Neutron
Danny Phantom
Last Airbender
Rugrats
Invader Zim
Drake & Josh
iCarly
Teenage Robot
T.U.F.F. Puppy
TMNT 2012

These are all Nick shows I enjoyed more than Korra.

Is Korra REALLY a top 10 Nicktoon?

Finn and Bones is the best game of all time

And I ****** with TKO HEAVY
Finn and Bones might have been peak gaming icl.
I was pretty 1 when TKO came out and played it most as a 3/4 year old in 2011/12 so I don't remember much, I just remember kicking ass as Big Chill.

Rest of that list is solid though. I think you can make an argument against Teenage Robot and Fairly Odd Parents but even then Hey Arnold and Rocket Power was arguably better than Korra. Those bolded names are Hall Of Fame untouchables tho (I'm a little biased for Zim)

i actually hated tko ngl i didnt like the gameplay but i was addicted to it 😭

but **** yeah dude finn and bones is genuinely peak. looooved loved that game. i remember i used to fein at school waiting to play when i got home

I'm just going to list my favorites (which all happen to be Adult Swim shows, for some reason):
Smiling Friends
Home Movies
God, the Devil and Bob
The Venture Bros.
Moral Orel
Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Rugrats >>> Anything else.
And I'll give you SpongeBob as a 2000s show because that shit only aired for 2/3rds of a season in the 90s.
I can concede throwing away Danny for Rugrats, but nah you trippin' if you think Rugrats clearing FOP and Jimbo.

A common conversation between people that were there to witness FOP's prime was "Which show is better? Spongebob or FOP?" and Jimmy Neutron was always considered a close second to them.

T.U.F.F. Puppy talks in the big 24 🐶 💔

LOOOOOOOOOL im dead as **** 😭😭

i loved tuff puppy icl show was endearing
Idk why, I think everyone loves that show but it was just ass if I'm honest man 😭
Like it arguably has the same flaws as TTG, but we give TTG hell. Likely has to do with the fact that TTG takes itself seriously but 🤷🏽

I personally fw TP, but icl the show is living off of its theme song and Kitty Katswell being hot 😭

Because TTG's flaws stand out a lot more and are significantly more irritating than TP's flaws

Ngl the theme song is definitely the biggest factor but I feel I low-key would have liked it with or without Katswell? Idk, maybe not. The show just made me laugh man.

I mentioned Katswell because almost every time someone gets asked what they think of the show, the first thing they say is "I had a crush on the cat as a kid."
