Fiction rarely takes the Law of Conservation of Energy seriously. As a result, characters that have tanked massive explosions can be knocked with a sufficiently powerful punch or other attack without causing damage to the surroundings.
A good example of this is Goku. His punches were shown to have enough force to begin tearing apart the universe upon becoming a Super Saiyan God and he has only gotten stronger since then. However, he has not destroyed the universe in every single one of his fights despite having more than enough strength to do so, nor do his opponents do the same when they match him.
