I thought secondary canon was enough to have anime only scenes usable as secondary canon unless theres a contradiction?
as far as I understand it secondary canon allows that medium to be used to supplement the main/first canon. Using anime for instance, that means that for calcs we can use the anime for time-frames if the manga doesn't give any, or any ambiguous/implied or off screen scenes that happened in the manga.

For "anime only" (or filler if you will) scenes as in scenes that straight up didn't happen or aren't implied to have happened in the manga, like extended scenes/fights that didn't happen in the manga or completely new arcs, if the author was involved in those scenes then imo it's case by case but generally like in Demon Slayer or Attack on Titan or especially Bleach where it's pretty explicit that the author considers the anime (or at least the portions they worked on) to be superior than their own not just in terms of quality but in a greater sense "THIS is truly my vision for the story/this part of the story".

And I say it's case by case because you have stories like Dragon ball and Boruto who have like one hundred different iterations of the same arc, all with involvement with the same author, each having their own differences and each having different takes on what's truly canon or not to the story

this is all within the context of vsbw as I understand it ofc

Ah I see. I’m pretty sure there were more confirmations than just “horikoshi was involved” for this season but if I have to recheck since it was like a month or 2 ago.

Eh well let's save this debate for later as this episode hasn't added any thing new it just have a confirmation to the feat.

Let's see if we get some really different stuff (give me space shot of cloud blowing away across the planet)
Have the final smash nuke the moon while we’re at it

Won't need it. Just from high end multicontinental Quintuplet smash can take us to the mooooon

i have no idea lol I hardly keep up with mha news ever since the manga ended
could be strong evidence for all I know 🤷‍♀️, I'll just have to wait for the crt

Yeah I checked and Horikoshi being heavily involved is literally on the Wikipedia page of the season.

Horikoshi in an interview to Screenrant -

The anime has finally made it to its final season, and when I was drawing the last arc of the manga, I had to fight my own battles. I wondered whether people would be happy with the past 10 years or if people felt like they wasted their time. I wanted to make something fans could look back on and enjoyed the journey.

Thankfully, it seems that the anime team feels the same way, and they’re putting their all into the final season. Now that the manga is over, I’ve been riding that wave and becoming more involved in production... With everyone giving it their all, the final season airs this October. Let’s give it our all!

He also added new scenes apparently as well.
“Now that My Hero Academia’s manga has ended, I have been able to work more closely with the production studio on the anime and the production process. I’ve had the chance to suggest adding extra scenes and emotional layers to the performances.”
EDIT: Also, the full quote states he was involved in storyboards as well.

“So, now that the manga is over, I’ve been riding that wave, looking at the anime scripts and getting involved in the storyboards more than usual. I also remember Justin on stage, talking about how deeply he cares for Deku. Yamasha-san would not shut up about it. I am sure that both of them are giving it their all on stage and in the booth. With everyone giving it their all, the final season will air this October, let’s give it our all!”

So why hasn't it been done yet😭 😂

Do you accept Quintuple Detroit Smash as instant or in quick successions(consecutive) and why??

I was thinking about You're Next and is it me or is the whole Evil All Might idea a really missed potential stuff.

The movie itself was alright and the best animated content MHA has but villains are bland af (not really surprising given MHA movie villains always have been bland despite the main story villains being well written). Gollini is cartoonishly evil and besides being a imposter isn't really All Might in any regard.

I feel like instead of the same loop of meeting new characters whose conflict Deku solves we could have focused on Deku and Class 1-A itself.

The MHA movies are just Horikoshi’s wish fulfilment he couldn’t fit into the main series.

1. Deku and All might fighting side by side.
2. Literally just the original ending idea, even having Bakugo get OFA.
3. Exploring stuff outside Japan for once. Deku having a solo 100% fight.
4. Evil All Might.

Yeah but he isn't evil All Might. He is just a crime boss posing as one.

I know. But he’s still supposed to be an evil All Might and he acts like an evil All Might and has insane physicals and power like All Might, just with a twist, because it wouodnt make sense if it was a literal evil All Might.

Horikoshi is a comics nerd and “evil Superman” is like THE thing almost every nerd thinks about at least once, and his Superman is All Might. So, Evil All Might movie.

Next movie will probably be
Embers Deku or Armoured Deku Adventures
because Hori couldn’t fit it into the series and wants his wish fulfilled.

Apparently in the new episode All Might dodges that laser when it was literally Less than a foot away from him, having to cross several metres to do so. I’m sure this will be fine and there won’t be any annoying laser based arguments arising from this.

In the same scene though All For One seems practically statued with the same laser, being unable to move more than a few centimeters while the laser travels dozens of meters. So it's a bit odd.

He was stunned by the audacity of All Might shoving a flamethrower down his throat.

Plus, getting hit by attacks he really shouldn’t be is in his DNA.

Just realised they retconned the flamethrower into an… icethrower? So I guess in the anime continuity he was frozen in place and couldn’t dodge.

Considering his frontal lobe a popsicle and All Might specifically mentions tying him up with his Dr Octopus arms, yeah no shit he can't move.

This is a funny ass matchup man

did anyone ever try to calc that all might radio wave dodge
It's not been calculated, but it's not impossible to do it because the distance from which he did it can be derived. We can find his speed at that moment and his perception speed, which would be used to find AFO's speed when he blitzed him from a significant distance. That thing would definitely reach FTL for AFO. Infact, even without calcs that feat is FTL.

@TheRustyOne did a calc for All Might dodging the laser beam after it got fired,he got FTL.

If accepted, then I'll use the power of wank to get gearshift Deku to MFTL+, I just need to get a valid way to get final war complete Shiggy to baseline SOL in speed.

Since Shigaraki beat a planetary Genshin character and a Large Star level Ninjago character, can we get him to fight a Galaxy level character next
Ooooooo yessssss

Let's find some galaxy level character with rel+ speed and no resistance to existence erasure and deconstruction to be another victim for the High Tier Hunter.

@RidleyX Your comment which has been deleted contained an offensive slur in it. Do not use it again on here. I believe this was probably an unintentional mistake by you which is why I've only deleted the comment.
