I hand over the revolver to Alex and then use my rifle to try to open the locked case by shooting the lock/locking mechanism

The lock is severely dented.

I continue firing at the lock to try to break it

The lock continues to be dented in, eventually just being a pile of scraps

I try to open the case

The metal is so beaten in the case doesn't budge

[It's more that the metal is so messed up from being shot so much that it's unable to open normally]

I give up on the box and check the items on the wall.

I inspect the revolver, wheighing it in my hand and pointing at the wall with it.

It's a completely normal revolver

I continue to follow the others.

I look around for a holster for the revolver.

There is none

 

[WHYNAUT]

I put put the safety on before putting it in a strap on the inside of my coat. Not the most practical place but I'm used to it.

I give up on the box and check the items on the wall.

The wall is lined with various kinds of trinkets, Knick knacks, and various useless items

At the heavy containment zone, the ice wall is melted and the room has started to shake. The guards seem distracted.

I go back the the case i had cheked before, the one with the wierd gun.

I take the hat and put it on.

After that i pick up the stress ball, then i simulaneusly squish it and trow the D-3 in the direction of the old man

The hat is perfectly straight on your head. The die lands on 3. After squishing the ball, you suddenly feel bad about the loves you've wasted and the stuff you've stolen.

I look back at the armored case

"Only thing left"

I summon Glenn and make him try ripping open the container

Inside the container you find...

a rubber ducky

I expected something better, but i'll take it.

i then look at the weird gun

"Guess the only good thing here was this gun."

I shoot the ice wall with it, to test it out.

Instead of doing any damage to the wall, you hear a bouncing sound and see a green, swirling oval on the wall

"What the hell ?"

I say confused

I grab my revolver and put the safety off.

Near the heavy containment zone, the rumbling gets louder and closer

I respond to Rainer, as i stare at the swirling oval in the wall, waiting for it to do something.

Also waiting for my servant cooldown to end since i wasted it on the armored box of disappointment

Nothing happens with the portal

I walk a little closer to the portal.

So, either creepy base full of monsters or green portal that could lead to anywhere.

To be honest, the second sound better

"Do you two think we should enter the portal ?"
