Trying to do a calc for a feat where a character over the course of a week moves the sun closer to earth to the point of altering the planet's orbit, bu a distance that it actually moves is not given. What distance should be used?

kekwell, whichever group of weirdo in lab coats did notice it and was looking for a weird pale man on the sun, the sun didn't get moved enough to put the earth outside the habitable zone (as they'd be dead if it were). the habitable zone is 0.9 to 1.5 astronomical units, or 134,638,083 to 224,396,806 kilometers
Yeah, from the scan if i recall, they noticed the sun moving because the orbit was changing, not because of other factors.kek
See thats the thing though, wouldnt the earth;s orbit be altered by the sun going closer even if they were still in the habitable zone?
zamn.Traveled from Earth to the Sun in 2 years, or 2340.52 m/s
Yield is 5.4479046841128E+36 Joules, 1.3 ninatons
It also lines up weirdly consistently with the numbers you gave, as the sun would have been moved 1,415,546 km over the course of a week if moved at that speedzamn.

would this actually scale to 096, or would it be considered an outlier?SCP Foundation: 096 Pushes the Sun
