To start: my thought process every time I see the generously-proportioned list of hax on a DMC profile or a verse supporter saying sum shit about a fodder demon having some manner of 4D hax is something along the lines of "that doesn't sound right, but I don't know enough about DMC to dispute it"

Situation reminds me of Lobotomy, where all of the Abnormalities got passive 4D mind, madness and fear. Doesn't sound right, but they got it.

Dragon Ball, it’s fine if they jump tiers via multipliers and scaling alone or go from Low 4-C to High 4-C+. But if another verse has mountains of statements and scaling like that people will say it needs more feats to back it up.
