Minor Umamusume CRT

There are a few problems with the Umamusume pages:

• Their Longevity entry is blatantly false, as the interview it links to doesn’t have the quote listed on the page and there’s no evidence that the elf comparison goes beyond the pointy ears. In fact, there have been plenty of occasions where characters are described/depicted as looking suitably old.
• This is a minor nitpick but on several occasions the page attributes things to an Umamusume’s species that’s a clear result of their occupation as a racer, such as the claim that most of them are celebrities when we encounter no-name civilians all the time. The aforementioned interview even mentions that Umamusume who are good at running but can’t sing and vice versa exist in-universe.
• The campaign takes place over three years so I don’t think the current Accelerated Development entry qualifies. However, you could put a “likely” entry for things like the “friendship training” and all the times people say that having a rival boosts their growth.
• There should be an Empowerment entry since the characters getting strength from their fans is very much literal. This even applies to things outside of racing, as shown in Tokai Teio’s 6th Character Story where her scores on an arcade game rapidly increase as more fans cheer her on. Which, now that I think about it, could also tie into the Accelerated Development entry.
• The current entry for Enhanced Senses would need to be “likely” but there are indeed feats like in Symboli Rudolf’s “Holiday Season” event. She even mentions that Umas have superior senses to humans.
• There should not even be a “possibly” when scaling the other characters to Gentledonna since she outright has “superuma strength.”

This thread lacks one extremely crucial thing being scans. A lot of scans. You clearly can’t expect the staff to just look at the text and hope that all of it gets approved. Try asking for them in the verse discussion thread or somewhere else (or maybe not since most people there also don’t seem to want to help with scan-related things /hj)

This is indeed a very minor nitpick yeah- Like all we need to do is change the wording a bit to make it clear that the racers are the ones who are famous, literally just adding one or two words. Minor edits might even be allowed.

Not sure about statistics specifically, but they should still have AD for abilities, going off the fact that there are times when the Umas gain stats/learn new abilities from pretty random events (or when trainers witness these and use that for their trainees, tho that probably doesn’t count idk) iirc, almost like Revelations in Yakuza.

There should not even be a “possibly” when scaling the other characters to Gentledonna since she outright has “superuma strength.”

(Also we’re planning on that yuh. There are two Class M calcs for Gentil now (one has already been evaluated), and both of them are going to be exclusive to her. The rest of the cast will just scale to a different Class K feat)

Well, for what it’s worth, I was planning on including scans but eventually gave up after struggling to figure out how to get my screenshots onto the page.

Anyways, my response to pretty much everything else you said is either “agreed” or “thanks for the information.”
