No it's in the real world. 30 seconds later he did this. Michael was also wearing his face wraps rather than the mask, which is what his illiusions typically appear as.
I get dismissing it as an outlier since he never comes close to replicating this again and gets tagged by people far slower, but that wasn't a hallucination.
