Shadow and Silver are technically the same, but with different innate abilities and skills. Silver is just as deadly as Shadow. You guys don't give Silver's character much credit.

Silver doesn't really have anything over Shadow that would be of an advantage. Shadow has better hax and superior fighting skill.
I voted for Shadow in that match, but Mewtwo definitely beats 5-A Silver.

@Shadow Silver has the range and lifting strength. Shadow has the better close range and better skilled at Chaos Energy. Both have pretty much the same abilities, same character personalities (when fighting), and can boost their overall stats if need to be. Both fought in 06 and it was a tie with both combatants not holding back and in the Rivals games same thing. They're dead equal if you think about it.

TK is the one thing Silver has that Shadow doesn't.
It wouldn't be helpful here against Mewtwo's Class Z lifting strength.

TK and range. Also the kick wasn't the deciding factor of the fight. Both were shown to be out of breath and after Shadow kicked Silver, Silver try doing Chaos Control just to keep the gap between him and Shadow even once more. He didn't like give up or was beaten down and do a cheap shot like he did to Sonic. This was different.

Boi! After the boss fight, they were first shown out of breath (Mind you Shadow went Chaos Boost mode just to kept up with Silver and Silver didn't learn to boost his own stats til Runners)
