I legit don't see a problem with that, like, I seriously don't; if the character has a bunch of powers, then let the character have a bunch of powers, what's the problem?

The fact that Metal Overlord was visibly destroyed on screen proves he doesnt have regen as Overlord has all of Neo's powers to a greater extent

Honestly, if Metal Sonic doesn't have the regen, then at least change the "possessed all the abilities" to "possessed most the abilities" or something like that; it's better than the page being straight up wrong.

Well I mean it is changing from a thrashed Eggman body to a fully healed Neo Metal, so some form of regen is happening.

His body wasnt wrecked, thats how he shapeshifts. That plus the fact that his body was destroyed by sustaining far less damage than what he should have taken if he truly had regen only proves that its not Regenerationn

Anyway, if Neo's Regen isn't useful, Yellow takes this via higher AP and due to being harder to destroy, which means it is much more likely that she will kill Metal before Metal finds a way to kill her; if the Regen is useful, I guess I'll vote Neo since he can ust keep Regenerating, and he'll eventually figure out that he has to attack her Gem; there are thing Yellow could do to get rid of him even with the Regen, such as bubbling him and sending him somewhere else, but she has never used that in character.
