Meruem is insanely skilled and intelligent actually, I'm confident that he'd murder Boruto in cqc, but unfortunately it seems like Boruto has a hefty AP advantage from the looks of it, so he'll probably win if Nen crush is restricted or something.

He was slower and weaker than the Guanyin Bodhisattva, and only managed to get through it via his intelligence, that's bordering on precognition, alone.

Having high iq =\= having high CQC skill. And let’s not forget Boruto is stated to be a genius as well with far more experience than Meruem.
Netero was way more skilled than him.. his durability tanked all his attacks and only got past them due to his precog. Unless the manga version of that fight is different than the anime’s. He did not show extreme levels of cqc.

His precog is entirely intelligence based.
The Guanyin Bodhisattva was faster, stronger, and had nigh-infinite attack patterns except for a few subconscious biases that he was able to pick up on via his analytical abilities, and predicted his attack patterns because of it.

Yeah I know he used, I just wanted to say it isn't passive as some people think, and most characters don't use it as their first move.

Could Boruto have resistance to Fear and Madness Manip through scaling to/above PTS Naruto and Sasuke?

No, we don't scale resistances via AP. He needs feats, or having the property which grants the resistance.

Nah, they were using their aura to protect the King. They could sense characters that enter in contact with their aura. It's not always used in combat. But she used once against Kaito though.
