The first matchup in a long ass time where LS is not Deku's greatest ally. That being said Gearshift is gonna break Sentry before he can use it to the fullest, especially since we know he doesn't keep it on his enemy the entire time as shown by his one fight with the Thunderbolts since he'll drop them before picking them back up in the same combo. That's what's gonna screw him over.

Do you think Sentry would do that in-character? Deku has social influencing + a cool vibe, comparable power and danger sense. I think Sentry wouldn’t TK crush him off the rip.

After all, he was willing to not kill John Walker, despite not liking him.

Yes...? That was like, a huge part of the movie that he felt bad doing this. He didn't even originally want to fight the Thunderbolts and wanted them to leave peacefully. And then when he was instructed to finish them off, he let them leave because he didn't want to kill them. Then when they went inside Bob's head, he felt horrible for everything he had done. That's like a huge chunk of his character. Now, that isn't to say Sentry won't shread Deku, especially since he actually had emotional attachment to the Thunderbolts, but saying he felt NOTHING about whooping their ass is crazy icl.

“Killing”. He never did that to the Thunderbolts. He only tried it against Val because she was about to pull the plug.

He never had control over the Void, and he clearly expressed remorse for the predicament.

There’s a difference between kicking ass and straight up murdering someone, and Bob would hate himself for doing it, especially to Deku.

Also, Deku is allowed to use Eri as optional equipment (I don't know if that was missed or not.)

Agreed, although this is also under the assumption that Izuku even comes close to killing Sentry as well (which I doubt he would, in-character. KO is another win-con.)

I.. don't see how he would be able to KO Sentry. If Sentry is gonna get blitz that hard (which is what Deku will be doing), then Void just has to come out unfortunately. Deku just can't win here.

It'd just be a straight up win for Sentry. You would have to resist BFR in order for Void's main ability to not affect you. Otherwise, Deku is unfortunately donezo.

By Reynolds trying to beat the crap out of void. Reynolds only won because the thunderbolts were there. Reynolds won't be able to win because Deku isn't smart enough to try to pull Reynolds away from void.

Void makes it obvious he's the "dark side" of Bob, and Deku is extremely intelligent and has great discernment. I don't know how he couldn't put two and two together, especially when he's got 3 days to figure it out (until he dies of dehydration.)

Besides, the Thunderbolts only knew Bob for like an hour or two (the scenes at the O.X.E. facility and the fight at the Watchtower), and most of them, except for Yelena, gave him crap. Deku's social influencing is doing something here.
