I suppose that this seems reasonable.

I can temporarily unlock the profile for you.

Why is a pushing feat regarded as lifting strength?

There are multiple factors that help Iron Man in this case, including high torque (remember what Archimedes said, "Give me the place to stand, and I shall move the earth.") and relatively small amounts of friction.

Please read the Lifting Strength thread.

"Pushing, pulling, and tearing feats are also considered a part of this statistic."

Using the aid of torque is still part of one's strength. Look at Smallville Superman, he's pushing Apokolips while flying. Iron Man is still using his hands in pushing the turbine, so it's still a lifting strength feat.

Read Archimedes' quote, the feat will be counted as strength, though it's not that simple as saying that if he moved x kg then his lifting strength corresponds to that.

Well, that would be rather extremely controversial since a lot of character profile's lifting strength involve pushing, downgrading their lifting strength will take a lots of time of worth.

I'm unsure if Archimedes is a genius..., so not all statements from reality are correct.

1.Stop comparing other profiles, not everything is motored to the detail so simple things like that would simply pass undetected, not to mention that not everyone has a basic idea of physics so it is even easier for such things to be overlooked

2.Torque is the tendancy of a force to rotate an object and |¤ä| = |r|*|F|*sin╬© or more simply ¤ä = r*F so the further you are from the rotational axis the larger the torque is even if the force stays the same, so theoretically yes a simple human could move the earth if he had a place to stand and a large enough object to apply the force.

@Kkapoios You can change back the strength statistic to its previous rating if you wish.
