Game's out!

There's a Tier 2 feat for the two Dooms, but due to lack of context surrounding it, I don't know if it scales to them fully or not.

Otherwise, destructive environments means there are a TON of potential feats ranging from 9-B to 9-A or 8-C, if I had to guess. I looked into some of the character lore and Storm has typical Tier 7 storm stuff, but I don't think that'd scale to physicals. Adam Warlock survived the Tier 2 feat due to his forefield apparently.

So, 9-A is easy, maybe 8-C if we're lucky

Higher stuff exists, mainly Tier 2, but it's kinda weird

I'll try and do some calcs and make some profiles!

I wanna do Reed when he comes out (leaked character spoiler)

But in the meantime, I've been playing Star Lord and Cloak/Dagger. Cloak/Dagger are kinda hard to get used to but Star Lord is braindead easy lol

So I can do those guys
 
Should Thor's Ultimate scale to the whole cast? Can they typically survive it?

I think Wanda's ultimate has a much bigger area of destruction, but it oneshots(?) anything in the blast

Feat gathering would be a nice step, I'll calc what I can

Thor's ultimate does 220 damage, so it's survivable for the entirety of the cast (even if barely for some)

Wanda's ultimate does 750 damage, which is actually survivable to some of the cast when using abilities. it could theoretically scale to characters like Venom and Hulk (Hulk can actually facetank it in Monster form, since he's got 1400 hp)

Sounds good! I'm unsure about scaling to Wanda's blast since it OHKOs all but the tankiest, but I'm glad that 9-A is basically assured. Pretty high into 9-A, too!

I think 8-C is very possible, just need to find the right breakable object

Maps on asgard have a crap ton of large breakable walls. Thats the only thing that immediately comes to mind.
 
A quick question regarding gameplay;

How does the pvp aspect work for profiles? Since every character can survive Hela’s soul drain attack, does that mean everyone has a resistance to soul manipulation, same for all the other characters with certain hax? Or do we just treat gameplay itself as something else.

Is there a way to go into practice mode on other maps? May be hard to test stuff given the nature of the game, lol

If they can survive it in gameplay, should be fine. The gameplay is canon, there's a cycle of constant battles being fought iirc

How do they resist soul drain though? Doesn't it effect them?

lowkey was a bad example, but I was just using her as an example since I was making her profile.

They do only get stunned from their soul getting drained, so I guess it could be argued for a resistance, but idk!!!!

Edit: Doctor Strange’s ult literally has him attacking their soul. That’s a better example lmao.
 
Can't Strange rip out a soul and then his teammates can also pummel it? Non-physical interaction for everyone?

I would still like to bring up the argument that since monster hulk can tank that shit he should scale to it.

I think monster hulk should be the only person who scales to it.

Fair, but everyone else can deal chip damage to monster Hulk. So I could see a bit of a floodgate opening, lol

I think we could rate Wanda "9-A*, 8-C* with Ultimate" and then give Monster Hulk 8-C* durability at most

I just know that we shouldn't scale the cast to a feat that most cannot survive, lol

Everyone has official movement speeds but they range from Average Human to barely Athletic Human iirc

Ig we could probably get feats from the game itself, pretty sure you can move alongside Storm's lightning
 
Other random stuff;

Doctor Strange and Iron Man get a resistance to radiation manipulation from being unaffected by (And can weaponize) being charged with Hulk's gamma radiation.

Both Thor and Loki have resurrection, due to Hela banning them from Hel and cursing them to resurrect whenever they die (Description of Hela/Thor/Loki teamup)

Scarlet With gets power bestowment from being able to empower magneto with chaos energy

Venom can leave permanent remnants (a codex) of himself on others he bonded with, allowing them to use symbiote power
 
Rip wish we had this in the actual marvel game discussion thread, lord knows it needs the attention but since this one is here now I'll follow

The animated trailers im pretty sure are canon so we should have around easy 8-A
 
So if Strange has a High 8-C feat that everyone can survive with ease, maybe the scaling can be that everyone scales to the High 8-C feat, but Wanda gets a "higher with Ultimate" since her Ult. OHKOs everyone but Hulk?

And Hulk would get an "higher" rating for durability obv

Idk about trailers being canon, we don't tend to use those iirc. But Magik cuts a building in half in one of them

Venom can pretty handily survive it too, but just to a lesser extent. he can buff his HP up to like 900 i believe. so he'd scale aswell.

i think those two are the only ones who can get away with surviving Wanda's alt without outside help

some old statements and discussion on for things they said and how they were going the OW pat with cinematics being canon coupled with the actual in game story lore although I don't remember the specifics but in those trailers we 8-B feats up to 5-B ones for the characters
