In Avenging Spider-Man Vol 1 Issue #17. Not suggesting anything, just thought it might be interesting considering the current outerverse discussion.

Marvel Outerverse

Well I'll be damned. I guess I was wrong.

I'm certain they weren't using the term the same way we do though. Nor was our coining of the term inspired by this scene.

Even I was unaware of this... (I'm more of a DC girl, than a Marvel girl.) Someone alert Matthew! o_O

Th use of the term in this comic book, however, is not referring to the "Beyond dimensional" void or beeings, but rather a void ouside of the regular 4D universe.

If I ever make my own fictional franchise, I'll use the term Outerverse, and it will align with this site's definition of one. I have sort of been working on my own fiction too.

@Melee Make sure not to have powerful for the sake of powerful. Only have outerversal characters if it makes sense within the narrative. Not cause you want them to be super strong. When you add too much VS debating in your stories you get Suggsverse.

Oh I've thought long and hard about that. For instance, the main protagonist of my verse will never even come close to Outerversal. The most my protag will probably hit is Tier 3.

In fact, the way I've been thinking about it is there won't be any major characters that are Outerversal and will mostly just be mysterious and obscure cosmic entities in that tier (similar to Lovecraft but with less of the horror element to it).

FC/OC is a good place to build your verse. It's basically this wiki but for fan/original characters.

I thought about submitting my OC to that but I'm scared someone will steal my ideas. Nah,I rather aim for official publishing which would possibly land my characters on this site instead lol

I think the term Outer Void is mentioned in Marvel when talking about where Oblivion resides. That's very close to the term Outerverse and it's refering to the same thing.
