9-A operator is crazy
Sounds good to me. Also I got two feats calculated on cord. Thinking about posting it on a blogI'll revive this for a moment.
What should we do with Totheark? His current profile is outdated and has some speculations that I don't like.
Is it even confirmed that there is a third Totheark member besides Masky and Hoody?
I was thinking that if that is confirmed, the profile name should change to "Third Member of Totheark" and there should be a group profile called Totheark. Since, at least Hoody and Masky, they proved to work together.
That sounds good. Out of curiosity, what stats do these calculations update? Also I got two feats calculated on cord. Thinking about posting it on a blog
Noice also the first calc Just upscales operator attack speed to subsonic. The other calc just upscales everyone else to 9-C via the red tower featThat sounds good. Out of curiosity, what stats do these calculations update?
I'll draft a profile for Team Totheark later.
That's great, Marble Hornets have been 10-A for a long time.Noice also the first calc Just upscales operator attack speed to subsonic. The other calc just upscales everyone else to 9-C via the red tower feat
Ye true. Honestly the feat was so easy to calc tbh. Anyway I'll post the calcs soon on a blog. They were done on discord and I'll credit the dude who did thatThat's great, Marble Hornets have been 10-A for a long time.
More darkness manipulation, more reality warping and more power bestowal from what I'm looking. Also even if it's a au. I think operator can still get the abilities from the au either way it's the same characterAlright from the first 4 episodes, he shows his usual space/time manipulation by trapping them in a Way that it is always dark and they can’t escape the place (maybe the ark), even making them see light for a split second before making it dark again, potentially reality warping as both of them had at one point a completely different version about what happened, bringing them to the brink of death just by standing near them and also something interesting that he never did before keeping Alex and Jay alive even though they haven’t eaten or drunk for 10 days.
It’s kind of as a « what if » like what if the film was actually shot. I believe it’s the same entityI just watched all four episodes.
The new series is clearly an alternate timeline. Tim isn't mentioned, and Jay mentions that Marble Hornets (Alex's student film, not the OG series) was completed. That means that in this timeline, Tim doesn't exist or didn't meet Alex and Jay.
For now, if we want to start profiling this new series, I think we should treat these characters as different versions of those in the original series. That includes The Operator.
By the way, I'm making a verse page for MH.
Strictly speaking, the entity isn't the same; it's another Operator, in another continuity where some events happened differently. That should be enough to separate them, since if that timeline has changes, then it's not the same, and we can't prove that this Operator has the same abilities as a completely different one... for now. It’s kind of as a « what if » like what if the film was actually shot. Say that again?I was worried they'd do something awful
The switched off phone repeating « Jay where are u » gave me some Tribetwelve vibes with that one diary.New episode! (and I hope it's not the last).
The Operator causes Jay's watch battery to drain rapidly, similar to what it did with a camera in the comic.
Jay mentions that he uses the moonlight to search for Alex "when the Moon is out," meaning it's not there all the time. It also starts raining halfway through the episode. Episodes earlier, we learned that time passes there, but it's dark all the time anyway. I think this is what's going on: They're still on Earth, not on The Ark. The Operator manipulates space so that when they try to escape, they'll return to the entrance of the place. There's still a day-night cycle, but the Operator keeps everything dark during daytime, which explains why Jay saw daylight in episode 4, but then a distortion occurs in the camera and everything is dark again.
We see Alex dead, but it seems to be an illusion, because we later hear Alex searching for Jay and screaming for help.
Even though Jay's phone screen doesn't turn on while his phone rings, The Operator makes the phone answer the call anyway and speaks imitating Alex's voice. Later, it calls Jay pretending to be Riley and imitates her voice, apparently luring Jay into a trap.
There are also some teleportation/BFR scenes. The Operator teleport Jay to the Tunnel and then to the abandoned hospital. It also teleports the camera from the hospital to the outside after seemingly trapping Jay at the end of the episode, also removing the darkness from the place.
