Madness Combat Discussion Thread: Redeemer

So you are implying that the auditor, WHO WANTS TO KILL HANK, is also the one who is helping him??????????
The Auditor isn't the only one. Theres 6 Employers we know of. We know they can individually do things. Also yes, helping Hank is not something above The Auditor. both MPN and MC11 shows that.

6? I think you meant 4

Chairman and Adjudicator weren't confirmed to be canon yet

unless you have a reason to say Chairman and Adjudicator aren't canon, they definitely are. They just likely aren't going to be seen unless they have a reason to.
that's different, why would the Auditor help him since the very start?
Project Nexus shows The Auditor is more than willing to help people he hates. Hank is more or less allied with The Auditor until he turns on Deimos and Sanford at the end of the game.

Yeah it was said in the mural that you can find in the abandoned house or something.
I like how this quote also calls Jeb to be a warrior of darkness

The only evidence of these Employers existing it is some obscure file in game's source code, so I'm not taking this as the absolute truth

99% sure the texture you're talking about is in game in Phobos' office. It's the charter for Nexus Core. Even then, Auditor isn't the only Employer. other Employers like stygian can intervene and help hank if they so choose to do so.

yeah, from The Maker's depiction in the basement. That can give a lot of things, but on it's own i think you can give immortality? i'm not sure.
Immortality and Paraconsistent Physiology. Which seems pretty consistent because gestalt is powered by dissonance which krinkles says is unbounded by the things the machine defines (machine defining life obviously due to s-3lf)

All the nevadeans share the same bound with the machine according to one of the origins

Krinkles should make an animation about the other employers, fffs
He did mention that he wouldn’t reveal their purpose unless there was a purpose to. Unless he has a reason to, Auditor and Stygian are likely the only Employers we’ll get to know about.

You know, I feel like S-3LF can also be information type 2, or S-3LF is related to prime code somehow. Considering the fact that The Auditor was messing with Sanford's mind while changing his code, which is something that S-3LF makes up (the mind)

Btw, I realized that we have a potential 5D argument due to a "space separating Somewhere and The Nowhere", since spaces separating two different timelines/universes are usually considered to be 5D

And I think the fact that we see The Machine itself when "trespassing" the space which separates Somewhere and Nowhere (unlike when actually being in either of those dimensions) also sort of furthers this point

I think this alongside with the description Madness 9.5 part 1 implying that The Other Place follows its own rules of Space and Time is important to consider

Krinkles said in one of his twitch streams the space-time is weird and skips tangets or something. Which is supported by the description of Madness Combat 9.5

I think all G01s might receive Acausal Type 4 lowkey due to Arena Protagonists feats them being stated to "resonate" differently with the universe (according to Doc's notes)
I agree with this. Also, I think S-3LF energy can have Type 4 as well

Protagonist casually resists and disconnects himself from The Machine's influence, Phobos defies higher powers' goals and casually goes against their intentions despite it not pleasing and potentially being dangerous to them

But that sounds more of something anyone could do, like go against what they want, unless they explicitly control causality/fate to force that yet he still went out of their influence to do his own bullshit.

Only G1s have shown to do it, it seems to be a specific G1 thing that they can do because of their connected to reality. Everyone else seems more or less powerless to The Machine's and The Employer's control (with very few exceptions)

All G01s also seem to have a sort of supernatural charisma considering how Phobos, Arena Protagonist and all other faction leaders in Nevada (who all are hinted to be G01s by aforementioned Doc's notes) can garner and influence people to side with them in their factions

i think that's just G01s using their millions of years alive to just be that good. They're literal demi-gods. they take over factions and become leaders because they're just that powerful.

A question, how exactly did you make renders using the game?
Just a few mods. I’m using a custom green screen room plus mods to unlock normally unplayable characters in playground. Then I’m using NEM so I can pause the game and move the camera.

you know if it weren't for Doc's notes at the end of Arena Mode, there'd technically be no concrete evidence Phobos was a Generation 01 in the series itself. I find that funny.

Anyways, the next CRT i have in mind will handle nevadean physiology, Director Phobos, and removing the weakness of the TAC-BAR only working on ranged attacks. (because Nexus Core Classic is a thing)

This is my current blog on it, added the acausality for Generation 01s and fixing up the S-3LF section. (plus general cleanup to make it look better)

You also have Plush's description
That too.

At least the arena mode player is not only specified, but he's specified which Generation 01 he is. considering he's confirmed to be the first civilian to be shot into the marshmallow in marsh-mellow-madness.

I think they should have immortality 1
