Madness Combat Discussion Thread: Redeemer

I finished most the edits to most of the profiles, however I have to take care of something and didn’t get to finish updating the following. If someone has the time, they can add the additions to the remaining ones;

A.T.P. Soldats (ballistic shield scales in durability)
Sleepwalker Patients
Half-Mag
B.G Bossman
 
Does anyone know if i'm allowed to scale the S-3LF Eater's durability to The Machine/The Maker? (low 1-A/1-A)

Also, Legacy of the S-3LF Eater gives us more context on The Machine's prime code which are etched across Nexus City, which are literally incomprehensible which drive people insane just by looking at it. (MCs are just built different and don't get affected anyways???) So The Machine actually has in game feats of it being a higher dimensional being, even compared to the things it defines.

technically means The Maker has even more things they transcend.

Nevada >> The Employers >> The Machine >> The Maker

that's like three layers of transcending higher dimensional beings.

I was thinking about it too

Eater is a direct extension of The Machine (via being created from prime code) and is painted as a completely ukillable foe (Undestructible Nightmare as a bandit calls him) - not even dissonant could kill it

I think it's just a gameplay thing. Plus it probably just gives the S-3LF Eater resistance to the Prime Blade's hax.

from what you said in that other thread, Employers can be baseline 1-A, Machine is 1 layer, and Maker is 2 layers

Wdym "gameplay things"? Nothing in the lore says that S-3LF Eater can be destroyed with conventional methods

In fact, everything tells opposite

Keep in the mind, S-3LF Eater was described as deathless (by Gonne's researching team) and indestructible (by cyberbandits). The entire point of creating Prime Blade was to seal away S-3LF Eater in The Machine since they simply couldn't defeat it otherwise

Also how does he resist Prime Blade? Prime Blade's whole existence was meant to counter S-3LF Eater's unkillability (which it eventually does in the game) and not other way around

I meant to say he would resist some of the Prime Blade's stuff, but I guess though you make a good point. I guess S-3LF Eater could have 1-A durability but could that cause chain-scaling problems?
 
I don't think so

The point that while they can stun and briefly knock out Eater (Assuming it is not done for gameplay purposes) they don't actually damage and destroy its body
 
However, I think if you REALLY try to push it, you can scale Prime Blade to S-3LF Eater's durability
 
S-3LF Eater is just some unkillable ************, how much of a immortal he is?like WHAT LEVEL, conceptual?
 
Interesting, Nevadean's border were said to be unreacheable, yet Dave apparently can still fly to there

Does this mf's helicopter has infinite speed or something???

The "border" is just the entrance to the Nowhere, and only the AMP can go there
 
Haunted Mansion's trophy has a boat on it with a word "Stygian" engraved on it

Which aligns with Krinkels' description of Stygian being like Charon who guides souls across river Styx

(Possibly Vehicular Mastery?)
 
Since S-3LT Eater it is what happened to Dr. Gonne, should be the latter also included on S-3LF Eater's page as another key?
