So, if I were to release light through my own power that lit up an entire continent, or even a planet, how powerful would it be?

I've heard lighting up the universe is 4-A, but if you light up a continent or a planet, how powerful would it be?

And if you can, could I get how powerful illuminating a continent like North America would be?

I used This, I insert the value of the sun (magnitude ect ...), For North America, the result is 4.15169e + 17
