A comparison between Donkey Kong and Monkey D. Luffy is interesting because it pits two iconic characters from different universes against each other. Here’s a breakdown of their attributes, abilities, and strengths:

Donkey Kong

  1. Origin: Video game character from the Donkey Kong series by Nintendo.
  2. Strengths:
    • Superhuman Strength: Donkey Kong is known for his immense strength, able to lift and throw large objects like barrels and even enemies.
    • Agility: Despite his size, he is quite agile, capable of jumping great distances and heights.
    • Durability: He can withstand significant damage and keep fighting.
    • Special Abilities: He has various abilities such as the "Giant Punch" and the "Ground Pound," which can cause considerable damage.
  3. Personality: Generally laid-back but fiercely protective of his home and friends, especially against enemies like King K. Rool.

Monkey D. Luffy

  1. Origin: Main protagonist of the manga and anime series "One Piece" created by Eiichiro Oda.
  2. Strengths:
    • Devil Fruit Powers: Luffy has eaten the Gomu Gomu no Mi, which grants his body the properties of rubber. This gives him elasticity, allowing him to stretch his limbs and body in various ways.
    • Gear Techniques: Luffy has developed advanced techniques like Gear Second (enhanced speed and strength), Gear Third (inflating his limbs for massive attacks), and Gear Fourth (transforming his body to increase power and mobility).
    • Haki: Luffy can use all three types of Haki: Observation Haki (enhanced senses and precognition), Armament Haki (increased attack and defense), and Conqueror’s Haki (ability to dominate the will of others).
    • Combat Skills: He is an incredibly skilled fighter with great resilience, creativity in combat, and strong leadership qualities.
  3. Personality: Free-spirited, adventurous, and highly determined. He values his friends and crew above all else and is always ready to take on powerful foes to protect them.

Battle Scenario

If Donkey Kong and Luffy were to face off in a battle, several factors would come into play:

  • Strength vs. Elasticity: Donkey Kong’s raw strength would be a significant factor, but Luffy’s rubber body would allow him to absorb and counter many physical attacks.
  • Agility and Techniques: While Donkey Kong is agile, Luffy’s use of Gear techniques would give him an edge in speed and power. Gear Second would make him faster than Donkey Kong, while Gear Fourth would provide overwhelming offensive capabilities.
  • Haki: Luffy’s ability to use Haki, especially Conqueror's Haki, could give him a significant advantage in intimidating and possibly incapacitating Donkey Kong.

Conclusion

While Donkey Kong is a formidable opponent with his strength and durability, Luffy’s diverse set of abilities, especially his Devil Fruit powers and mastery of Haki, would likely give him the upper hand in a prolonged battle. Luffy’s creativity in combat and his determination to protect his friends would drive him to find a way to defeat Donkey Kong.

Serious vote: Haoshoku Haki makes Donkey kong surrender, he is no different from other animals of One Piece who showed Human emotions like the kraken who are all weak to Haoshoku, Luffy just wins win that and for other several reasons like resistance to blunt force and etc that are just the cherry on the top of the extremely easy instantwin Haoshoku is

...Did you seriously pit the genuinely moronic punch gorilla against Luffy? Who has an insane resistance to blunt force?

Like, we're talking that this match fundamentally cannot work because everything DK does in blunt force in some way-- that is in both Standard AND Optional Equipment. But would DK use those even if he had em? Probably not! If he can't solve his problem by punching it the first time he's just going to keep trying unless he can't get into melee... Luffy is a melee combatant.

Oh and let's not forget that Luffy outskills DK so hard it's not even funny...

ALSO he has Haki. And not just any old Haki either, we're talking ADVANCED KENBUNSHOKU.

DK stands 0 chance here whatsoever, Luffy skillstomps him, has combat precog, is immune to all of his attacks, can't be BFR'd because he stretches WAY too far for that...
