Just went and did it. Pontos has Md-Godly regen and Type 8 immortality, so let's see what happens.

Speed is Equalized, Lucemon is at his max for 2C.

It isnt really an upgrade worth of a rematch.

Lucemon couldnt kill Pontos back then, and now even less.

Pontos still cannot kill lucemon.

Well, we do have new resurrection rule now. So Type 8 got a decent nerf. Although Lucemon still has his own odd resurrection.

It's still inconclusive though. Though Lucemon has a way to bypass Mid-Godly and those resistances now.

Only things that have changed:

Pontos got regen in which is useless in this battle due to Lucemon's ability to deny one the return from nothingness/nonexistence. So pretty much no one has regen here.

Lucemon can bypass resistances by making them become weaknesses for Pontos.

Pontos has Demon Lord Immortality.
