Cat would've just expanded a huge cataclysm and deco Kai, the argument was also that he burns Cat throught a huge fire barrage before Cataclysm is ready.

The expansion took a bit of time, not a lot but with Kai's speed buffs he can reach Cat Blanc with spinjitsu or his other speed amps before he could do anything as the speed difference is too big. Cat Blanc has better range than Kai's regular fire attacks but the starting distance being 10 meters makes it irrelevant

The MFTL+ speed only applies to Cat Blanc's universe busting attack as of now, so his regular moves are just FTL, his reactions also being FTL means he still gets blitzed

We litterally allowed Spinjitzu bc of this of Cataclysm? And their base speed was equalized, meaning the range burst of flames can work

Well it doesn't matter anyways since Lloyd stomps regardless. Even if Lloyd didn't have all of his other abilities, he's still much stronger and faster than Kai so Cat Blanc won't be able to do anything to Lloyd
