In the weight lifting minigame at the Muscle Cave in Lisa The Painful, Brad squats a car, a drawer, a refrigerator, and three drums. Depending on how you see this, it's around 1.5-2 tons of weight, which is pretty solid Class 5 lifting strength, and it's listed as such.
But Brad actually lifts this weight for over 450 reps. Doing multiple reps in one second. Meaning his max one rep should be multiple times higher.
If we go for the conservative 1.5 ton (3000 lb) figure for the amount of weight Brad is squatting, and using the Epley's formula (the Epley 1 Rep Max formula estimates how much the weight lifter could have lifted one time (RM) based on the maximum number of reps (r) of a lesser weight (w).) which is 1RM = W•(1 + r/30); then Brad's max squat is 48,000 lbs (24 short tons, or class 25). His max deadlift should be a bit higher, into the lower ends of class 50 territory, since most people's squats are around 75% of their deadlift but it varies from people to people. Not completely sure about that because it's more guess work.
Any thoughts on this?
