There's no real reason to assume this is an earthquake, or a single attack to begin with. It's just "They probably did it like that because they can cause earthquakes"

That's describing their destruction of a single city, not the entire world. This sorta just emphasizes my point there's no statement or showing of them causing a worldwide earthquake or severely damaging the planet in a single blow when they say "destroy the world".
