Also worth mentioning that Galatine is 6-C. Lee is only 7-A, regardless of what he uses. And, remember, Tristan can very well be wrong, since attacks from Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon, a storm of 7-A+ and 6-C weapons, do nothing at all to counter Melt's intang when she's a 7-A

In CCC, the first time you meet Melt. She hasn't gotten to Lv 999 yet (her 2-A key), and Gil's attacks constantly fail becuase the never hit, even with 6-C NPs

That invul was because no hit detection already there, which Hakuno and co suspected to be in there though they weren't able to tell what kind of ability or cheat she was using since the source of problem was basically far deep in the core or smtg. If it was because intang, the narration would be something like "our attacks just go through her like water" but it was "our attacks just won't hit or do any damage". Also note that Melt at that point was already powerful and high leveled that there is quite a high difference between their attack powers between Melt and Hakuno's Servant, though maybe not at lvl999.

Hmm. I might need to re-read CCC, because I don't remember her being Lv 999 at that point.
Either way, if it requires a 6-C AoE attack to even damage Melt, Lee can't damage her because he A. isn't 6-C and B. doesn't have effective AoEs
