At first, Kikoru could help Reno with being able to predict the movement of its attacks but Kaiju No. 9 adapted to it. The next time Kikoru fought against No. 9, she stated she is unable to predict its movement, showing how the adaptation became a resistance

1 Layer (Gen w/ RT-0001): Gen with RT-0001 could constantly predict Kaiju No. 9’s movement even though it had similarly adapted to Gen’s movement.

1 Layer Resistance (Kaiju No. 11’s Water): It is stated by the author that No. 11’s water cannot be read by Gen’s pseudo foresight.

2 Layer (Gen w/ Evolved RT-0001): However, Gen with his Evolved RT-0001 could read the movement of not only its main body but the water as well

• Mind Manipulation (1 Layer)

Baseline Resistance: Essentially, specific officers wears Numbers Weapon Suits that uses a Daikaiju’s cell and energy, which causing brain stimulation and an abnormal spike in neurotransmitter levels as well as transmission rate. As a result, a person's basic human nature and desires emerge. Depending on their personality, the impulse may be strong enough to destroy their body. Furthermore, the toll of this energy and cells has been noted to be sufficient to cause constant pain to the point of being unable to control their own rampant thoughts. It can also cause mental instability and make people slaves to their distorted emotions until their bodies can no longer keep up. Within less than 10 minutes, Reno, a recently trained user of a Numbers Weapon Suit, succumb to these effects, but other Numbers Weapon Suit users like Kikoru Shinomiya, could fight as long as 15 minutes without suffering from these side effects, despite having a Numbers Weapon Suit not as long as Reno

1 Layer: Kaiju No. 15’s Mind Hack is described as psychogenic attack and could affect the likes of Kikoru

• Regeneration Negation

Baseline: Gen Narumi’s GS-3305 can halt the regeneration of anything it pierces, affecting Pre-Molt No. 9

Baseline Resistance: After absorbing Isao Shinomiya, when Gen had GS-3305 firmly stabbed in No, 9’s body, the wound that No. 9 suffers began to regenerate regardless. Not to mention, after Gen release a barrage of slashes on the Kaiju’s body, you can see it regenerate

1 Layer: Kafka could halt the regeneration of this Kaiju No. 9, to the point even after days has passed, No. 9 was still regenerating its lower body.

1 Layer Resistance: During the No. 9’s Cataclysm, No. 9 could resist Kafka’s RN, as despite suffering lethal blow, it could regenerate the wounds right away with the no delays.

2 Layer: Berserk No. 8 is stated by No. 9 to be crippling its regeneration again

• Corrosion Inducement

Baseline Resistance (Kaiju and Defense Force Officers): Defense Force Suit are made from Kaiju muscles fibers and cells, and Defense Force Officers are capable of resisting corrosive acid that can melt iron, which is not made of the same cells and fibers, but not their suit.

1 Layer: Kafka Hibino could erode the body of Kaiju, stripping away their skin and reducing them to bones with his attacks. Due to Kafka’s attacks, No. 9’s body was breaking down tremendously.

1 Layer Resistance: No. 9, during the No. 9’s Cataclysms, could withstand many attacks from Kafka during their battle with little ill effect unlike previously

2 Layer: Berserk No. 8 is ripping away No. 9’s skin at a large rate.

• Invisibility

For Soshiro: Soshiro’s attack being stated to be invisible air slashes < Kafka is able to perceive and dodge it < Soshiro’s Air Slicer is invisible to the point that Kafka is unable to perceive or dodge, questioning if it was an air slash

For No. 9: Soshiro’s attack being stated to be invisible air slashes < Kafka is able to perceive and dodge it < Kafka is unable to perceive and even stated that he cannot see it
