But well, this has been bothering me from the beginning and it's really simple, the 7-C+ rating needs to be deleted. The justification vague as hell

possibly Town level+ (Kaiju with a fortitude below 8 are implied to be capable of generating destructive tsunamis. Which would require this much energy)

It is assuming that a fodder kaiju can generate an earthquake, however, none of this is said. An earthquake is not the only reason for a tsunami to be generated. A tsunami for example can be created by a landslide. Although landslides are commonly created by earthquakes, this is not the only option and can vary with water displaces behind and ahead or with rock avalanches.

It is also an outlier if we consider as an earthquake. The minimum magnitude for a destructive earthquake is 7.6, which is 7-B. Hundreds of times greater than any feat shown so far, even for God-Tiers.

I agree with you that it is vague which is why it has the ‘possibility’, though I don’t mind the removal of it.

This is the CRT where the 7-C+ were implemented where it mention in the OP that you can create a tsunami via Magnitude 6.5 earthquake and in Chapter 1, the person did state that the tsunami was destructive, only emergence-induced.

I mean, the point is that there are several ways to cause a tsunami and we cannot assume one method with nothing to back it up. For example, the biggest tsunami in the world was caused by a rock avalanche, which is obviously not even above 7-C. Besides, I wrote that it would eventually be an outlier in case it really is an earthquake
