Im also confused, is type 3 only combat applicable, or type 4 + type 3?

Both are, but ignore type 3 for the time being because Garm doesn't have a regeneration type on his profile yet(If he did, it'd be like, Low Mid, likely/possibly High Godly, like Baldur)
You need to negate the specific Immortality, negating Invulnerability does nothing for Kai here
