It's a beautiful day in Duwang. Gappy heads to his favorite fast food joint, as he loves large fries. As he's waiting in line, he sees Josuke ahead of him. "What a strange hairstyle", he says to himself. Unfortunately, Josuke hears this. "....What the hell did you just say about my hair!?" he yells angrilly, stomping over towards Josuke. "I won't forgive anyone who makes fun of it, no matter who it is!" he adds, as he summons Crazy Diamond. Left with no time to deescalate the situation, Gappy runs outside and summons Soft and Wet.

Round 1: Speed unequalized

Round 2: Speed equalized

Victory is achieved when either combatant is unable to continue battling. Both combatants begin 10 meters from each other. Also this song plays during the battle.

This is a massive stomp, Josuke's stand and its ap stomp Gappy.

I wouldn't say it's a stomp, due to SaW's Plundering ability. Due to the fact that there are no limits to how many bubbles Gappy can send out, Josuke would not only have to get close to do any meaningful damage, but dodge all of the bubbles. If Josuke gets hit by even one, it's gonna be bad news. If he can stay out of CD's range (since while CD is MFTL+, Josuke himself is not) and bubble hax him from a safe distance, I think it's fair to say that Gappy has a fighting chance.

The problem here is that by the time Gappy produces said bubbles, Josuke's stand's superior speed would have beaten the snot out of him, additionally Josuke can give himself a massive range advantage by throwing things such as pebbles at him.

Yes, it's true that CD far outspeeds SaW. But remember that CD only has an effective range of 2-3 meters, with stands becoming significantly weaker the farther they're sent past their effective range. All Gappy has to do is keep his distance, because while CD is MFTL+ within that range, Josuke isn't.

Sorry I edited my comment, but Josuke has a massive range advantage due to learning how to shoot objects anyways.

That's another good point. If the projectiles themselves travel at MFTL+ speed, then I don't see Gappy winning. But ONLY if that's the case, as I'm unsure if a character's movement speed is equivalent to how fast the projectiles they shoot travel in a VS debate.
