Yes, DDM, this is for you.

Speed is equalized and the combatants start off at 60 feet away. Battle takes place here.

Otherwise SBA

Jedah: 0

Tchernobog: 5 (DarkDragonMedeus, JustSomeWeirdo, Gargoyle One, Veloxt1r0kore, Huesito88)

Inconclusive: 0

Jedah has a slight AP and Durability advantage, but Tchernobog's resistance to Jedah's hax, non-corporal, and madness manipulation seems legit. He's also got better BFR doe to bottomless pit. It would also be badass for Tchernobog to possess him; then they'd be the ultimate psychopath. Leaning towards Tchernobog for the win here.

I'm not sure if Tchernobog's madness manip is combat-applicable, since we only have one quote describing it and we don't actually get to see how fast-acting its effects are.

Still though, vote counted.

Yea, don't really have anything to add, but I should mention that being Non-Corporeal isn't helping Tchernobog here

Tchernobog still wins for reasons above though, Mogalls might give a little bit of trouble though

Potentially. The original Blood has items and enemies that target the soul, and he's barely fazed by any of them.

How likely is he to do that in character, anyway?

Eh, yes and no.

He needs a physical body in order to use most of his powers, but his true essence is non-corporeal and killing his physical body won't actually put him down.

The whole thing with Tchernobog's reincarnation cycles is that he/it immediately finds a new body to possess once he's killed, and his/its will overtakes that of whoever he possesses. (Although some people's personalities have managed to "color" the being, giving it new personality traits it didn't have before) That's why the Cabal was formed; their initial purpose was to continually furnish him with new people/bodies to reincarnate into.

If you kill him, he tries to possess you. He even tried it with Caleb, but Caleb no-sold it because reasons. (Hence why Caleb has Tchernobog's reality-binding abilities in the second game despite not having been transformed into the next incarnation of the being) Lore that used to be on all the Blood websites before they were taken down implies that the change is supposed to happen instantly.

He also has a variant of possession which he doesn't need to be dead in order to pull off. He used it to take control of a random cultist and speak to his Chosen through him. (And also vaped the flesh off the guy's bones afterwards, presumably just because he could.)

Considering actual souls are fodder enemies in Echoes

But it doesn't matter much as basically everything is resisted
