Jay Grimoire VS. Bolt Arriaga

Jay's crusade against 7-B continues, this time against a time stopper. Jay Grimoire is in his 7-B key, while Bolt Arriaga is in his first 7-B key. Speed is equalized. Les' ****** go

Jay:

Bolt:

Inconclusive:

Timestop works on Jay's body, but his mind is still active. He can initiate sticky fingers but it won't activate until time resumes. Bolt's timestop has a 1 minute limit, right?

It means there's a legit danger of jay getting so damaged he second winds, which lets him adapt to timestop if Bolt does too much against him. I'm assuming it's thought based and he opens with it.

Yes, but he doesn't really open with it, and He's fast more bloodlusted than Damus is and would try to go for the finish right away.

Plus unlike Damus, he can freeze time with no known limit (the amount of time he has to freeze time only depends of how much life force he has.)

if Bolt doesn't open with it then things are about to get a lot harder for him, as Jay steals his stats and goes to town

Well, he doesn' Immediately open with it. He would try his long range attacks first. If those don't work, time spam.

Long-range attacks get absorbed and buff Jay up even more, especially the lightning ones. Bolt doesn't have BFR in his 7-B key or in the Genshi Power list, and it gets resisted anyway.

Actually he can multiple his stats via electricity, and he can creates a limitless amount of Electricity.

Limitless amount of electricity means a limitless amount for jay to snack on. Time manip gets resisted because saving throw + jay having survived in the void, and manipulating jay's age doesn't really do much to a demon.

He can still phase through any attack Jay has and attack him via existing outside of space and time.

Ghosts and spirits in Tales of the Red Wings exists on an entirely separate plane of existence where time flows differently, and Arks can hit non-existents. Bolt being outside space-time is no issue.

"Where Time flows differently."

That's what you said right?

Bolt can exist where there's ABSOLUTELY no time and space whatsoever.

EE gets resisted hard, and even if the settings are different, the semantics of that don't really matter because what it comes down to is jay can hit bolt even if he's somewhere else

Funny thing is, he erased Jikan, who has Type 2 acausality, due to being separated from time.

no. I'm saying Jay has resistance to EE on a scale that can affect Type 2 and 5 acausals. And type 1 abstracts, for that matter.

Well, Bolt did fight Type 1 abstract beings before.
