Very minor thread, here.

Pennywise's page should probably be renamed It or The Deadlights, given that Pennywise is just a name It took on in one of its many, many forms and likely isn't accurate.

But that's the name it most refer to as, when he was on Earth. The Deadlights is his true self outside of Earth, and there's also the thing that Hive in Marvel is also refer to as "IT" should we call it It (Deadlights) and It (Marvel Cinematic Universe) i don't know about this change.

If anything I'd suggest a separate page for Pennywise and Deadlights. They both possess clearly different levels of abilities, so it could make sense.


Anyhow, I'd say no to a general name change. I found the article via searching Pennywise, not It.

They're the same entity, they need only be separated by a key.

Then like I said, I'd leave the name be. It's the more commonly known name. We don't have Michael Myers down as "The Shape" or Leatherface down as "Bobby Sawyer"; whatever its more commonly known name is should stay its designation.

I think that Pennywise or it should do the work, after all these are its most commonly used and well known names.
