Is This Verse Allowed? (HL:VRAI)

I've asked this once before, but didn't receive a conclusive answer. HL:VRAI (Half Life VR but the AI is Self Aware) is a parody series of the original Half Life, but is focused on comedy and has a number of original characters and diverges into a completely separate story from the source material. It has some notable feats and hax, a pretty well defined canon, and fits the notability criteria as the series has millions of views on Youtube and has had multiple outlets reporting on its popularity. Would I be allowed to make profiles for the verse, or is it too reliant on Half Life (or more specifically, Gmod, since that's where the gameplay is actually from)?

Idk, this still feels odd to me, because the premise of the series is that of someone playing a ****** up copy of Half Life, and not so much the events of Half Life as they appear in-universe. Would we really put someone playing the character of Gordon Freeman as a VR avatar on the same level of an actual retelling of Half Life (something like Freeman's Mind)?
