Is this Physics Manipulation?

Just seems like Acrobatics to me.

How would Sonic be controlling Physics in the scan?
I dunno, he grabs the object and it pauses in the air with him, and then he winds up his throw by.... spinning in the air around with it? I don't even know what this was supposed to be in the first place. Very wacky physics.

The interaction here seems to be a case of the limitations of the Sega Saturn's engine, rather than an intentional display of physics manipulation. Even then, I'm not quite convinced that Physics Manipulation is even remotely happening. At best, it seems like nothing more than gameplay trying to convey that sonic is hurling whatever this is in mid-air, not something that warrants ability classification beyond, maybe, Acrobatics?

Doesn't Sonic have a swing-to-fling mechanic in his previous games as well? What first comes to mind is in Sonic 3 - could be thinking of something else. This seems more or less like an iteration of that anyway.

Yeah no Sonic is just, flinging Eggman there mid-air. Still, don't quite think this is Physics Manipulation.

Edit: Tired and it's late, apologies for the constant edits.
