The void had no sense of direction or distance; he was very sure that if they turned right around and headed in the opposite direction, they’d still reach the odd shadow somehow, and if they ran at their best speed, it’d still take the same amount of time as if they walked.

Can this void have BDE Type 1?

EDIT: Also, can this be dismissed as hyperbole if there is evidence of it having dimensions?
