Is Kronos the god of time?

Every site I go to says he is, but I've constantly heard that is false and that he was just the god of harvest. So was he the god of time or is that a common misunderstanding?

Common misunderstanding. He was constantly compared to the god of time Chronos due to similar names.

Ah, I've read on multiple site they're the same person, but I guess that's what happens to mythology over thousands of years. However doesn't that mean our Kronos profile shouldn't have time manipulation (and shouldn't be called the god of time)?

No, time manipulation should stay in the Kronos Profile. Kronos is a god of time, due to being a god of the harvest, but he is not THE god of time. In Greek Mythology, there are a class of beings called the protogenoi that are the personifications of the their respective sphere I.E. Gaia is the earth, thanatos is death, nyx is night, etc. Kronos may be a god of time but he is not the personification of time that Chronos is. This just like Zeus and Uranus. Zeus is the god of the sky but he is not THE sky that Uranus is.
