Is Iron Man vs Cap an Outlier?

So this is my main question.

In Captian America Civil War, both Winter Soldier and Cap are taking hits from a bloodlusted MK 46 Iron Man.

This seemed like an obvious 8A feat, so I assumed it was obvious for an upgrade.

Is this why they don't have 8A Durability?

I also noticed that for the most part they stagger Iron Man with their hits, but only two of winter soldiers grabs and hits from Cal's shield do any real damage, so this would be a slight upgrade to WS's arm and Caps striking strength with the shield.

Well?

Barely, Cap and Winter Soldier still did leave damage marks on his armor and WS nearly ripped out his core.

The one other time he managed to do any damage to an 8-A was against Ultron, and even then it was barely a scar in Ultron's body. Cap staggering and overpowering Iron Man seems like PIS to me. Furthermore, he really only started doing major damage while using his shield.

2 9-A's overpowering a 8-A seems like blatant PIS to me. But Bucky ripping out his core with his Vibranium arm I take it? That could warrant a Possibly 8-A via Bionic arm.

Staggering isn't PIS because that doesn't give you 8A, as he only stuns Iron Man but doesn't do any real damage to his suit.

In the fight whenever you see Iron Man take genuine damage to his suit, it's either through Winter Soldier grabbing him, or when he's hit by Captian America's shield punches

In the part of the fight where IM is back against the wall, whenever Cap punches with the shield, IM is stunned, but doesn't take much damage, when he's hit by the shield however he is shown having visible damage to his suit as his system goes haywire.

I think his striking strength with the shield is 8A, but not his standard attacks.

Yes, he already has 8-A ST with his shield. But unless Cap and Bucky went through some sort of lengthy training, they're still 9-A physically.

Uhhh Cap's page literally states he has 8-A Attack potentcy with his shield, but not ST for some odd reason

That's Sith the shield toss, not his striking strength
