Is Infinite Dedede a thing, or...?

Researching Dedede for a personal project of mine, and I've seen a few statements thrown around that characters in the Kirby universe (specifically Kirby and Crowned Magalor) have infinite/limitless power. How valid are these statements, and how would this affect Dedede's stats? I've looked the statements over, and they're pretty definitive with no other way to interpret them.


My apologies if this is a dumb question. Fairly new to this branch of the internet.

They cannot be taken literally, as there's no showings of this level and they're outright contradicted ingame. If Kirby truly had infinite power, he'd 1 shot everyone he fights with the exception of Master Crown users. Obvously this can't happen for the sake of having an actual game, but you can't really write off the entire game as game mechanics like that.

In general, if WOG contradicts what is shown, it doesn't get used here. Feats are generally > statements. To quote TvTropes, Ultimately: when words and images clearly depict A, no Word of God can make it B.

But Digimon and SMT have dozens people who are infinity times infinite, being stronger, why is this different?

Nah, in all seriousness, it's a hyperbole. Overlord and Wokistan are right.

I remember that masked DeDeDe has a limiter (ignore It for now,we barely know something about that limiter), also sometimes i hype because of Kirbyverse being at the Border of having infinite/immeasurable speed (Cal likes immeasurable speed characters why not?)

100% on topic, the statements like this only are taken seriously when not contradicted,so you must wait for some serious sh*t to say this is correct (also on the border i must say).
