is dragon ball heroes canon??

how do we know dbs is canon to dbh
Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Heroes have been stated to share a multiverse several times, with DBS Goku living in an alternate timeline from Xeno Goku. The Big Bang Mission arc of Heroes was meant to be a "what if" continuation of the DBS anime, and the [Super Dragon Ball Heroes 8th Anniversary Super Guide Book] stated the Dragon Ball Super anime was taking place at the same time as Dragon Ball Heroes in another dimension.

Dragon Ball Heroes also teased the singer of Dragon Ball Super's opening Limit Break X Survivor: Kiyoshi Hikawa. Dragon Ball Super manga characters also appear in a Heroes crossover.

It's it's own continuity, not the primary canon. It's an extended multiverse where DBS Super, and Toei versions happen to be canon to Heroes in the form of timelines withing the extended multiverse. But Heroes stuff will be omitted for scaling any of the individual continuities such as both versions of DBS, or even Toei.
