Superman vs Green Lantern is a great example of the latter's fighting style against a flying enemy. Hal will start with a ranged attack if he can't get close (Like his chains or energy beams) but will use melee when he gets the chance

If he gets pushed too much he'll protect himself with a forcefield which will be useful when Iron Man launches a missile cluster or something like that

Hal has an advantage here due to his ring, wich is extremely versatile and powerful and unlike Tony, he doesn't have a limited amount of weapons and projectiles. Tony is a genius so he could develop a strategy, especially with Hal's impulsiveness but Hal is still too versatile and powerful I think
