Idk, if I was already in healthy condition and got over twice as strong after only a few months of training, that'd be pretty impressive. How much has Mark actually worked out?
Like, he's half-human, so it probably applies, but we got any fitness experts here?
In 90 days of presumably professional workouts, he got:
65% more Speed
70% more Endurance
138% more Strength
That feel underwhelming to anyone else?
Bro worked out for 3 months & couldn't improve by more than a 2 & a half times factor, AT BEST. If the other 2 statistics are any precedent, & they're treated as impressive, then his gains probably aren't much better.
Would numbers like those be good for a real person's workout?
How do you think that'll go down?We can see Mark fighting male versions of Duplik8, so that suggests he goes to another universe.
Well, checking Invincible's verse page, which the comics & TV series shares, Duplik8 doesn't even have a profile.Idk, if I was already in healthy condition and got over twice as strong after only a few months of training, that'd be pretty impressive.

I was asking what you thought would happen that would cause that fight, rather than how it would end, lol.Well, checking Invincible's verse page, which the comics & TV series shares, Duplik8 doesn't even have a profile.
But, we do have profiles for a couple of presumable peers:
Tier: At least 9-A, possibly far higher physically, at least 9-A to Low 6-B, likely far higher with equipmentRex Splode (TV Series)
Rex Splode is a character from the TV series "Invincible". He possesses the ability to generate explosive energy from his hands, which he can use to create powerful blasts. Initially portrayed as arrogant and cocky, Rex Splode is a member of the Guardians of the Globe. Over time, he faces...vsbattles.fandom.com
Attack Potency: At least Small Building level, possibly far higher physically (Fought against and killed all of the members of the Lizard League including Komodo Dragon who could fight against the Immortal), at least Small Building level to Small Country level, likely far higher with equipment (Oneshotted Komodo Dragon and Octoboss who could tank a hit from Invincible)
Tier: At least 9-C, likely 9-A, possibly far higherShapesmith (TV Series)
Shapesmith is a martian superhero who came to Earth after taking the place of Rus Livingston, one of Earth's astronauts. After arriving on Earth and assuming Rus' identity, Shapesmith joined the Guardians of the Globe in an effort to protect people and become a superhero. Tier: At least 9-C...vsbattles.fandom.com
Attack Potency: At least Street level (Managed to knock out Rus Livingston in one hit[1], cracking his helmet in the process. Was able to kill multiple sequids at once with his bare hands[1]), likely Small Building level, possibly far higher (Fought the members of the Lizard League[2] alongside Rex, whom he should be comparable to)
I'd be surprised if Duplik8 was on Invincible's level at all. & I doubt her male counterpart from another universe will fare much better.
We see male Duplik8 knock down a distracted Rex from behind. Was Rex with Mark in this alternate universe? Or are they an invader?
We late see him give Rex a nosebleed.
& soon after, we see 12 of him on-screen at once. In fact, going frame by frame, a thirteenth instance of him can be seen in that scene.
Also, OMG LOL. In that scene, there seems to be TWO of them with the number 5. Did those artists really leave a continuity error in their trailer?!
Anyway, in the close-up of them grappling him, we can see the numbers on their shirts, much like how Duplik8's uniform also gets numbered. (Do their powers just... create the uniform?)
Highest number I saw is 42.
Anyway, Mark is able to behead one of them, bloody severed partial spinal cord & all, basically barehanded.
So yeah, if you're asking me, there's definitely no way "Infin8" or whater his name is gonna be, is gonna be scaling to Mark.
As for the whole alternate universe stuff, it's curious, because it looks like Earth, the clone dude attacks Rex & Invincible alike.
So this some kind of weird Guardians of the Globe Mission where Sinclair somehow got interdimensional universe tech & sent them somewhere? ....Nah, I doubt he'd sent his top supes to scout another world, let alone compromise his country for a crisis on another universe's planet.
So clone guy, Infin8 or whatver, seems like he's invading.
Ah. Sorry to go at such length.I was asking what you thought would happen that would cause that fight, rather than how it would end, lol.
Well, if you're talking about cloning experiments, I think the only ones we'd know about at this point in the series are the Maulers, Robot(With the Maulers), and the ones that made Eve's "siblings".Ah. Sorry to go at such length.
I have no clue what could've caused it, though I do recall last season there was a time where we saw a universe where both Omniman AND Invincible were evil & tyrants that Earth was rebelling against.
It could be that Infin8 is from such a universe.... But that might not explain him attacking Rex. He'd have to know of Rex associating with Invincible, & he doesn't look ragged from living a rebel's life.
It is curious. He's a different gendered Kate, he has a better version of her powers (Up to 42 clones.), & seems to hate Rex &/or Invincible. Maybe he dislikes them by association with the Guardians of the Globe & Sinclair? Some kind of dislike of their experiments? Did GotG or Sinclair ruin clone guy's home? Maybe he just thinks superhumans in general are a problem to be removed?
