Infernape vs. Bakugou

"doesn't melt things"

Looks at bakugo and deku vs nine and bakugo melting that rock wall in that hole

Yeah sure....

So Bakugou is fighting somone twice his strength, who takes half damage from his explosions, has several statistics amps for all his stats, Regenerationn, skill, debuffs for Bakugou and his own form of pseudo flight (Infernape is shown to be able to boost with flare blitz in the anime). Only thing Bakugou has is intelligence, how is this not a stomp?

Bakugou is the one with the 2x strength advantage, and we're arguing if he could resist the explosions or not.

Though, funny enough, Bakugou may not have intelligence. Every Infernape is an expert martial artist capable of using all of its limbs (including its tail) as a weapon.

I really should put down the computer and sleep I'm seeing things lol. But for real Bakugou's AP amp is almost inconsequential since he loses in everything else hard and could get his defense dropped just by being looked at. Plus Infernape possibly resists it.

Sorry but Bakugou makes explosions by IGNITING the Nitroglycerin like sweat. So yes, his explosions are in fact fiery in nature, halfing his explosion damage thanks to Infernape's resistance to fire. Explosion and Self-Destruct are in fact the inner energies of the Pokemon. Just like how Brock's Forretress did.

Infernape can cover the AP disadvantage with Calm Mind, Bulk Up, Power Up Punch, Focus Energy and Nasty Plot

Infernape can heal himself with Slack off while Bakugou will constantly take damage

Infernape can burn Bakugou and half his striking strength

Infernape can use Bakugou's strength against him with Counter

Overall Infernape should win low difficulty
