If a character is able to instantly reduce a human to a pile of ashes/puff of smoke, would it count as vaporization?

Example clip.

The Dragonkin use fire to instantly incinerate Idria. Is this vaporization? I am leaning towards yes but I can see an argument for it being different. If it is different, how can it be quantified?

Well, it isn't melting, and not quite vaporisation either. We regrettably do not seem to have a heat capacity value for this in our Calculations page.

I suppose that vaporisation is a closer approximation however, but you need input from more calc group members.

Yeah, that is what I figured. Hopefully I get some replies on this, since this can give a good value to any character who can incinerate a human.
