Kinch vs Kirito

Story: Kirito in real life gets transported backwards in time to the era of WW2. There he finds Stalag 13, where Hogan's men find him and bring him in. Naturally, Hogan's gang aren't particularly trusting of the kid with Japan their enemy and his lack of awareness of what's going on. Kirito starts to explain what happened and Hogan to everyone's surprise believes him.

Lebeau: "Sir are you mad!?!?, he's from the future? Pffft there's no way!"

Kinch: "Sir this is obviously a trick"

Everyone murmurs

Hogan: "Ok ok. Listen, you must understand how we can find this all a bit bizarre but I saw you stumble around outside the camp. Regardless if you're from the future or not, you clearly aren't aware what's going on."

Hogan then tells Kirito about their operation and what's going on in the world.

Kirito: "That's terrible! Maybe I can help!"

Hogan: "Maybe you can, but if that's gonna be the case, we need to know if you can match our criteria. Kinch over their can give you a friendly boxing match to see how strong you are physically"

Kirito: "Ok then, lets fight"

Kinch: "Oh boy, here we go then"

So yeah, this is a match where the winner incapacitates the other.

Speed is =

Takes place inside Hogan's barracks and both only have their barehands

9-C versions obviously

Kinch: 7 (Ant, Cristian, Jack, Tony, Stalker, Crimson, Gyro)

Kirito: 0

Inconclusive: 0

Kinch via having actual combat experience and training

Kirito's experience is limited to video games and business men with knives.

Hypersense- Sensing another player's presence or even killing intent before seeing or hearing them.

Doesn't really help in a boxing match.

Kirito's experience in VR actually effects his IRL muscle memory, so saying he has no combat experience is a bit bunk. He's less proficient in hand to hand in comparison to with a sword (And his standard equipment in this key is exclusive to a glow stick that turns into a sword using AR)

That said how experienced in just punchign someone is Kinch?

I know about the muscle memory thing but his VR experience is in swordsmanship not pugilism, which was my main point.

They have military training and I believe Kinch is the 2nd highest ranking member. For more on Kinch you'd have to ask Arsenal because I'm just going off his page.

I mean it's not like kirito can't fight with Martial arts. He has some Martial arts skills, like Crescent moon and etc that he used against boss monsters. Though I don't think that would help much against military training

Even though this following exerpt was from a spin-off, it's written by the same author as canon and gives insight on how an SAO player thinks in battle. Obviously this event is non-canon, but there's stuff in here that is canon, such as Kirito's battle experience. Here's the exerpt:

It was at an amazing speed.

The silvery white avatar «Silver Crow»'s rush with his middle right kick slipped past my abdomen, its movement was ultra smooth as if it had been repeatedly practiced thousands of times.

However, due to its smoothness, I could feel where the first attack was aimed at.

The one moving Silver Crow was a living human, there's no mistake about it. Then, when the human operates the avatar, there will be the tiny bits of information exposed from its movement which didn't exist in monsters. The significant ones are heart beats, toe direction, waist height, and gaze.

For a duel in SAO, it would be fatal to get hit by a single strike, so it was very important to read the opponent's movement in advance. Therefore when needing to fight with an evenly skilled person, any move fired from a long distance must be avoided at almost a hundred percent rate. Jumping moves need to be blocked, as evading might leave an opening, and a favorite special move is sure to be inserted in between the flow of continuous attacks that followed.

From that perspective, the Silver Crow's middle kick speed was, without a doubt, marvelous. But its movements gave out too much information at the initial moments, I could feel the intention to hit my left flank, so I dashed backwards with all my strength.

In summary, Kirito's used to fighting enemies that use hand to hand combat, and even the slightest movement will make Kirito realize the intentions of his opponent.

That's cool but speed is equalized so he won't outmanuever Kinch that easily and Kirito's body is significantly less capable in real life. Last time I checked Kirito hasn't won any real life fights except against people who are physically weaker than him, which Kinch isn't, because he is comparable to someone unphased by small explosions.

Ok so here is the episode based on Kinch and his boxing:

https://youtu.be/A_3LznIcTQ4

So Kinch claims he's only fought in the Golden Gloves, an amateur boxing tournament in the States. However it's much more likely he was saying that so the Germans would underestimate him. In the actual fight, Kinch doesn't even try to punch until Hogan's distraction occurs. Hogan then screams "Kinch now" where Kinch incredibly easily smacks down Bruno who was an undefeated German champion who won his last 13 matches by Knockout.

Couple that with the military training they would have received and Kinch is a very good boxer and overall fighter

Plus Kinch even remarks at the start that this boxing champions technique is all wrong and to Hogan claims he could knock him out easily

Kirito fought Eiji who out classed him in literally everything because he was amped. He has experience fightning enemys stronger than him
