Because it will allow much weaker characters survive after attacks that would have killed them in other circumstances and may allow some of them to win a character that had greater DC.

Why not just equalize everything by this logic?

did you read when i said to not add these to notable victories? unless there is a note to explain the situation. this gives contibutors more flexibility on what fights they want to happen.

i know. i thought of that but. it gives users more freedom to do fights with their favorite characters without having to worry about DC or speed getting in the way. It could draw more people to the site.

Outside of these two franchises I don't see a real need for it but In guess it could be a fun "what if" battle.

Well I just spotted one tiny problem with stat equalized battles. It makes it difficult for users with no knowledge of certain franchises to give there two cents. ie. Me trying to participate in Skodware's matchup while having fairly limited knowledge of MK verse (only having played the most recent one.)

this site has a powers and abilities section on profiles. so this helps you out a lot. people can still do research but just know that stats are equal.

(I watched Bleach up till the last episode, Naruto up until about the Sasori arc, and One Piece when i was a kid)

But being around shonen fans helps me a lot.
