Hmmm, since First Thorn Boost is not an ability but a Baam weapon, the latter will be able to activate it, overall Baam has more technique than Ike, Nihil is dangerous as it can cancel the trump cards of Baam, but Reactive Power level will help Baam widen the power gap between him and Ike.
Ike overall seems to be smarter and more experienced than Baam and may be able to trouble him in combat, although Ike's swordsman will put him at a disadvantage, since Baam knows how to fight swordsman and counter them.
